Vision
TAEVIS promotes diversity and enhances learning opportunities for students with disabilities by transcribing college-level curriculum materials into accessible formats.
Mission
TAEVIS staff members provide accessible materials by:
- transcribing college-level materials into braille, tactile diagrams, and electronic text.
- serving as a resource for Purdue students, faculty, and staff.
- utilizing the intellectual and capital resources in the Purdue community.
- leveraging new technology to streamline the transcription process.
- supporting and assisting in the realization of the missions of Special Programs, Adaptive Programs, the Office of the Dean of Students, Vice President of Student Services and Purdue University.
